I guess I've seen signs for it, but Lowe's has these little projects for kids to do twice a month. I think their intention is for the kid/parent combo to work on it in the store. But the cashiers at Lowe's love Kate, and just said she should go get one and take it home.
So last Saturday's project was to build a little wood race car. Daddy assembled. Kate was fascinated, and just watched - as she often does in the presence of tools.
